Grid Controls Guide

Control Buttons

πŸ—‘οΈ Clear: Remove all buildings and terrain from the grid. Your grid size will remain the same.

πŸ–ΌοΈ Export PNG: Download your territory layout as an image file. Perfect for sharing on Discord or with alliance members. The export automatically crops to show only the area with buildings.

πŸ”— Share Link: Generate a compressed URL containing your entire layout. Anyone with the link can view and modify the design. The layout data is encoded in the URL itself.

πŸ’Ύ Export JSON: Save your layout as a JSON file. You can copy the code to share in Discord/notes or download it as a file for backup.

πŸ“₯ Import JSON: Load a previously saved layout. You can paste JSON code directly or upload a .json file. This will replace your current layout.

πŸ“‹ Samples: Load pre-made example layouts to see how to organize your alliance territory or use as a starting template.

Grid Size

Width & Height: Set the dimensions of your planning grid (10-200 tiles). Larger grids let you plan bigger territories. Default is 80x80.

↔️ Resize: Apply your new grid dimensions. Warning: Buildings outside the new grid boundaries will be removed.

Tips

  • Save regularly - Use Export JSON or Share Link to backup your work
  • Share Link is easiest - No file downloads needed, just copy and share the URL
  • Start with samples - Load an example to see best practices

Territory Map Guide

Building Types

🏰 Alliance HQ (3x3): The heart of your alliance territory. Expands territory by 3 tiles in all directions (blue zone) and 7 tiles total for buildable area (green zone).

🚩 Banner (1x1): Extends your alliance territory. Creates a 3-tile blue (alliance) zone and 7-tile total green (buildable) zone. Strategic placement is critical - banners must connect to your HQ or other banners to remain active.

πŸ›οΈ Town Center (2x2): Represents each player's city in your alliance (TC). Place numbered centers to assign specific positions to alliance members for coordinated placement.

βš™οΈ Alliance Mills (2x2): Resource-generating structures (AM). Important: These are fixed on the actual map and cannot be moved! Plan your layout around existing mill positions.

πŸ•³οΈ Pitfall / Bear Trap (3x3): The building where your alliance summons the Bear Hunt event. Members rally here to attack the Raging Bear for rewards like Forge Hammers and resources. Place it centrally so strong rally leaders can position nearby to minimize march time.

🚫 Blocked Path: Mark impassable terrain like mountains, water, or enemy-controlled areas on the actual map.

Strategic Tips

  • Plan around Alliance Mills - These cannot be moved in-game
  • Connect your banners - Banners become invalid if disconnected from your HQ
  • Bear Trap placement - Position it centrally for rally leaders with high Command Center levels
  • Use numbered Town Centers - Assign specific grid positions to each member
  • Valid Placement indicators - Green squares show buildings correctly placed in blue territory
